Conference of Ministers of Agriculture 2023

The Conference of Ministers of Agriculture of the Americas 2023, organized by the Inter-American Institute for Cooperation on Agriculture (IICA), was held in Costa Rica with more than 200 participants, including presidents, Nobel laureates, ministers of agriculture, representatives of the private sector and farmers from 32 countries. The meeting agreed to strengthen the role of the hemisphere as guarantor of food security and global environmental sustainability in the context of the climate and economic crisis, which calls for a more productive and resilient agriculture.
